Our Story

Josh Knapp founded Architectural Landscape & Design in 2006 to provide a full service Landscape Design, Hardscape design and construction firm following a more than ten year apprenticeship in the field. We are based in Victor, New York and serve residential and commercial customers in the Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes areas. We provide free onsite estimates and can produce detailed drawings or computerized virtualscapes of our designs.

Our Hardscapes include everything from patios and walkways to outdoor kitchens and living space. We are committed to providing reliable, well-managed services with great attention to every detail. Our goal is to enhance the beauty, and value of your property as well as your desire to spend more time in your outdoor living spaces. We are especially proud of our record of consistently completing projects on time and exceeding our customers’ expectations. Passion for our work is what sets us apart from other companies. We use only the healthiest plants, highest quality materials and the best installation practices.

We are a professional team that works closely with our customers to develop creative, practical, sustainable, environmentally friendly and virtually maintenance free solutions to your Landscape/Hardscape needs. Our skills are sharpened each day, not only through the work experience we get, but also through continuing educational programs designed specifically for the Landscape/Hardscape industry. We also are using state of the art equipment and materials due to our continuing research to tackle these jobs appropriately and efficiently.

All warranties are transferable to any future homeowner. Lifetime warranty on all cambridge and techobloc hardscape products.

5 year warranty on hardscape installs.
1 year warranty on plants, trees, and shrubs unless due to lack of maintenance, animal destruction, or infestation.
